Please remember that trash pickup provided by the Association is for ordinary household waste. If you have large items (e.g. furniture, mattresses, appliances, etc.) or construction debris (e.g. sheetrock, carpet, etc.) you should contact Walters directly for pickup. There will be a separate charge for special pickups that will be added to your Association account. Dumping will result in a fine.

You should never put hazardous waste items in the trash, such as:

  • Microwave Ovens
  • Refrigerators
  • Air Conditioners
  • Televisions and Computer Monitors
  • Computers
  • Fluorescent Bulbs
  • Certain types of batteries

These must be disposed of according to state and federal laws. Please visit Ramsey County’s “A to Z Disposal Guide” for more information about proper disposal and drop-off locations.

Single-Sort Recycling

Saint Paul currently uses a single-sort recycling system which allows you to mix all of your recyclables together.  Eureka Recycling is committed to improving single-sort recycling so that each bottle, can, and piece of paper can be put to its highest environmental use.

Christmas Trees

Each Christmas holiday, disposing of an old Christmas tree can be as simple as placing your tree in one of the trash pickup areas during the first two weeks of January, free of charge to you. For pickups after that date, you will need to arrange for your own tree disposal.

Additional information may be found in the Christmas Tree Mailing.
