There are many advantages to living in a condominium: the Association handles lawn care, snow shoveling and plowing, tree-trimming, and most exterior painting, repairs and maintenance. Water, sewage, trash and recycling collection and exterior lighting are paid for by Association dues.
There are also expectations of residents to follow the rules and regulations of the Association. There is less freedom of choice than in a private, free-standing home. Brandychase has an active Board of Directors, whose primary responsibility is to make decisions that maintain property values of all homeowners.
Because each unit is attached to its neighbors (though with more space and privacy that in many condominium developments), the Association regulates the appearance of the exteriors and common areas. Prospective residents are asked to review the Brandychase at Shepard Park Declaration and Rules and Regulations carefully before they buy.
