Brandychase at Shepard Park consists of three eight-unit one bedroom buildings and five eight-unit two bedroom buildings, totaling 64 units, each with its own detached garage. The property was developed by Stuart Corporation, who developed most of the nearby multi-family buildings along Shepard Road. The association was created in 1982 as a phased condominium with 48 units included in the original phase; construction was not completed until 1986 when the 2284 building was built.

Nearby Shepard Road was named in honor of street and highway coordinator George M. Shepard, Chief Engineer of Saint Paul Public Works from the 1920s to 1950s.
